French onion soup

A can of Baxter’s French Onion Soup is just 92 calories – and you can liven it up (and make it more like real French onion soup) by adding some authentic extras.

Cut a piece of chunky bread in half (90 calories) and toast it. Break or cut into small pieces, then grate about 10 grams of gruyere cheese (41 calories) over the bread as you drop it in the soup.

The soup has a really good flavour, and the chunks of toast give it extra texture while soaking up the soup. A great lunch.
