Whatever you snack on, you’ll need some substrate to hold the toppings. Here are three crackers to choose from.
Ryvita Original Crackerbread (left) is just 20 calories a slice, but does have a slightly bland cardboard taste. They’re also much lower than wholegrain Ryvita crackers, which are 37 calories per slice.
Finn Crisp Original Sourdough Rye Thins (centre) are very much tastier, with just as much crunch to them as Ryvita – although they are a lot thinner. Each cracker is also 20 calories.
If you want something chunkier, Bakery Delights Crispbakes (right) are about 1cm thick and are a lot more satisfying. As they should be, as these weigh in at 39 calories per slice.
Most big supermarkets will stock all three of these, although you may have to shop around. Sainsbury’s website (linked here) has all three.
